*The City requires provable job experience with operating boilers and related equipment before you can test for your operating license. To test with the City of Omaha for a 3rd grade operating license you are required to have 1 year of experience before testing, to test for a 2rd grade operating license you are required to have 3 years of experience before testing and to test for a 1st grade operating license you are required to have 5 years of experience before testing.
We have had people take our classes with no intention of testing with the City but to gain the knowledge that comes from digging into the textbooks and being able to have their questions answered in relative detail.
N.A.P.E. courses are highly recommended by our past students. The information taught is up to date and accurate. The instructors are in the business they teach and are mentored by the best in Omaha through our membership.
